Welcome back to Waifu Wednesday, Niche Gamer’s column where we talk about characters, their appeal, and a little on their history.
This week’s waifu is AlienMixture, the latest talent joining the Socks VTuber Agency!
For those who don’t know, Socks Agency is the brainchild of internet artist FlorkofCows who basically meme’d the agency into existence. The agency itself is named for Flork’s (in)famous “sock” puppet characters.
AlienMixture (otherwise known as Ali) debuted as an independent VTuber before joining up with Socks Agency just last month. Her content runs the gamut of gaming livestreams to original songs and covers such as her cover of “Pippa the Ripper”.
Ali is a self-described “gremlin”, capitalizing on the sort of chaotic energy that’s become increasingly popular in VTuber spaces. She has a cute tail and some interesting outfits and variations to her model that probably can’t be shown directly on the site.
