Not long after Stunlock Studios confirmed they’re moving onto their next game and winding down content for V Rising, we’ve learned the game isn’t planned for Xbox or Switch consoles.
While the popular vampire RPG released its big 1.1 update last summer, the team is moving onto their next game that will also be set in the world of V Rising.
Some fans expected to see V Rising eventually come to Xbox or Switch consoles as it has been on both PC (via Steam) and PS5 (get our review here), though it sounds like that’s not happening now.
“Regarding Xbox and Switch 2, we don’t have any plans to port V Rising to any additional platforms at this time,” a Stunlock Studios representative said to Niche Gamer. “If this changes, I’ll make sure to let you know.”
Other survival games like Valheim debuted on Xbox consoles but are now coming to PS5 and even Switch 2. Some survival and crafting games like ARK have been available for the original Switch and even Palworld came to Sony’s console after a lengthy debut only on PC and Xbox.
