Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Dusseldorf have announced The Settlers reboot is delayed again, following its recent closed beta.
While The Settlers reboot is delayed again, Ubisoft noted the feedback they got regarding the current state of the game made them decide to delay it to a later date.
“As we went through this feedback, it became clear to our team that the quality wasn’t yet in line with the team’s vision,” Ubisoft said in the statement. “Therefore, we took the decision to postpone the launch of the game to a later date”
Ubisoft noted “the additional time will be used to further improve the game and push quality as our main priority for all our players” and that we’ll get updated “in due time” with more details.
The game was originally supposed to release in Fall 2019, only to get delayed into 2020, and then it got delayed indefinitely prior to firming up a now-forgone March 17th, 2022 release date.
Whenever The Settlers reboot does launch, it’ll be available for Windows PC via the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store. The game will also be available via Uplay+, Ubisoft’s subscription service.
