Atlus have released a new gameplay and story trailer for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster.

As previously reported the story takes place while the protagonist is visiting a friend in a Tokyo hospital. He then witnesses “the Conception”- the destruction of the world. Yet, they survive. Now as the “Demi-fiend,” he creates pacts with demons, spirits, and other beings to break the cycle of annihilation and rebirth.

Players explore dungeons while fighting off monsters- with both having access to the press turn system. When a character performs an attack with an element their foe is weak to, they gain another turn. Without careful planning, it is entirely possible to be wiped-out by foes; or for you to devastate foes.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster launches October 29th in Japan, and Spring 2021 in the west for Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
