Palworld Pokemon mod preview already copyright struck

Palworld Pokemon mod

The absurdly successful Palworld, commonly likened to Pokemon, has already gotten a mod that turns the collectible critters into the well-known creatures of the Pokemon franchise.

The video preview has been copyright struck after a Twitter user brought attention to the upcoming mod and also provided a brief video glimpse.

As could be seen in the video, the player character is transformed into the well-known Ash, and other familiar characters make an appearance, alongside the ever-loved Pokemon critters.

The Palworld developers noted there currently is no mod support for the game, but plan to add it in the future.

It wasn’t mentioned if the mod will ever become available for download, but some will assume Nintendo will do everything they can to prevent this, considering their history with fan creations.

At the time of writing, Nintendo has seemingly already copyright struck the video:

Palworld was just released on January 19th, for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also on Xbox Game Pass.
