• NES Launch Titles and Release Schedule Announced for Switch

    Nintendo has confirmed the launch lineup and release schedule for classic Nintendo Entertainment System games coming to the Nintendo Switch.

    The launch lineup includes the following titles:

    • Soccer
    • Super Mario Bros.
    • The Legend of Zelda
    • Ghosts ‘n Goblins
    • Excitebike
    • Tennis
    • Balloon Fight
    • Super Mario Bros. 3
    • Tecmo Bowl
    • Yoshi
    • Donkey Kong
    • Ice Climber
    • Double Dragon
    • Gradius
    • Ice Hockey
    • Mario Bros.
    • Dr. Mario
    • River City Ransom
    • Pro Wrestling
    • Baseball

    The post-launch lineup of games was also confirmed:

    • October 2018
      • Solomon’s Key
      • NES Open
      • Super Dodge Ball
    • November 2018
      • Metroid
      • Mighty Bomb Jack
      • TwinBee
    • December 2018
      • Wario’s Woods
      • Ninja Gaiden
      • Adventures of Lolo

    In case you missed it, pricing and further details for the Switch online service were also confirmed today – you can read more about that here. New controllers styled after the NES console were also confirmed – and they’re exclusive to these very same games.

    The Nintendo Switch Online service goes live September 18th.
