Final Fantasy XIV and Fall Guys announce crossovers in both games

Fall Guys Final Fantasy XIV

Final Fantasy XIV and Fall Guys are having a crossover collab and actually goes both ways.

More than just some Final Fantasy skins in Fall Guys they’re actually adding mini-games to FFXIV similar to Fall Guys. These games may seem a bit out of place but there are already platforming mini-games at the Manderville Gold Saucer.

There will be costumes of course, and beginning on August 22 Fall Guys players can begin unlocking cosmetics based on characters from across the Final Fantasy franchise, with special attention given to FFXIV.

You can check out the Fall Guys and Final Fantasy XIV crossover trailer below.

For now, there’s only a few screenshots of the gameplay coming to FFXIV as it’s still in development.

Final Fantasy XIV will be releasing for both Xbox Series X and S consoles, though Square Enix said the Series X version will naturally have better loading times and 4K resolution support.

The game’s latest expansion – Dawntrail – was also announced, with a release set for Summer 2024. The full version of the game, including its new 7.0 expansion, Dawntrail, will be playable on Xbox.

Final Fantasy XIV is available now for the Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Microsoft Windows (through Steam). You can check out our review of the latest expansion Endwalker here.
