• Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail expansion announced

    Square Enix has announced the latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV called Dawntrail.

    Dawntrail continues the story from the last Endwalker content patches which conclude the stories of Vrtra and his sister, the origins of the gods of Eorzea, and more.


    The upcoming expansion was announced during the Fan Fest in Las Vegas.

    With the saga of Hydaelyn and Zodiark seemingly ended, the Warrior of Light is free to continue his life as an adventurer exploring the world and saving lives.

    Traveling on a ship, the Warrior of Light and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn head for “The New World”, a land only referenced in flavor text and cosmetic items so far.

    Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is expected to release in Summer 2024.
