    Square Enix is letting out more teaser tidbits for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the next hyping up the sheer size of its game world.

    The new teaser, from game director Naoki Hamaguchi, boasts the game is set in a “wide and multifaceted world” that includes a “high degree of freedom.”


    “Players will be able to journey across the wide and multifaceted world with a high degree of freedom, experiencing a myriad of different stories along the way,” Hamaguchi said

    Yesterday’s teaser noted the game’s development is “progressingly smoothly” and they’re actually looking to nail a release date right now.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to launch sometime in winter 2023 for PlayStation 5.
