Publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware have announced Elden Ring topped 25 million copies shipped and sold.
The new milestone for the blockbuster JRPG was reached in worldwide sales a bit over 2 years since its launch. The surge in sales is likely from the game’s highly anticipated expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, which launches this month.
A previous milestone of 20 million copies shipped+sold was reached back in February of last year, meaning another 5 million copies were moved since then.
