During Netflix’s geeked week, Dragon Age: Absolution has been announced as a six episode animated series on the platform.
The series is expected to release some time on December 2022. This announcement continues Netflix’s goals on adapting more video game franchises into series or movies.
Recent examples of their other adaptations include the upcoming Resident Evil series and Sonic Prime series. This may also relate to their goal on reaching 50 games by the end of 2022 released for the streaming platform.
In terms of the franchise, it has been recently revealed that the next game will be called Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. So, it seems that the game series itself will also be garnering more attention after the last game launched all the way back in 2014.
