Netflix reveals a Sonic Prime first look

Sonic Prime first look

Recently, Netflix has unveiled their upcoming slate of animated series, with a Sonic Prime first look, finally showing a tiny bit of the new series.

Here’s the new trailer, which towards the very tail end gives the Sonic Prime first look:

A couple of major names are included in this announcement, such as Sonic and Kung Fu Panda. A list of the new shows revealed are below:

  • Daniel Spellbound
  • Dead End: Paranormal Park
  • Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight
  • My Dad the Bounty Hunter
  • Sonic Prime
  • We Lost Our Human

This announcement also comes with them revealing the renewal of some of their other kids series. Such as The Cuphead Show! and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The latter of which should not be confused with Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which also came out last year.

The Sonic Prime announcement is also not to be confused with remarks about an upcoming live-action television series for Sonic. Though it certainly comes hot on the heels of the massive wave in popularity the blue blur has garnered thanks to his success at the box office. As well as plans on creating a supposed cinematic universe after it was announced the Sonic films would become a trilogy.

Netflix most assuredly would hope that these series can help bolster or at least keep a large number of their subscribers. The company’s stock plummeted upon news of their first decline of subscriptions in a decade. It would also go along with giving them more properties to work on creating games, of which they plan on having 50 available by the end of this year.

What do you think of this announcement? Would these be shows you would be willing to watch, or have your kids watch? Or are you among the many that contributed to the loss of subscriptions?
