Deviantart, the decades old art hosting website has created a grocery list of restrictions for content on the site.

The rules will dramatically impact many of the site’s users who regularly post NSFW content.

The restrictions are similar to ones made by Patreon and Pixiv in recent years. These changes are allegedly dictated by payment processors such as MasterCard. This is reinforced by the fact that DeviantArt will now also require “erotic” material that does comply with the rules to be Subscription and Paid only.
