Amazon Prime members can now add Crunchyroll access to their subscription.

The anime distributor Crunchyroll is now available as an “add-on” channel for Prime members, costing $7.99 a month. This is the cost of a normal Crunchyroll subscription so it only really matters for users who want the convenience of Prime Video and Crunchyroll in one place.

Crunchyroll has made some controversial decisions in recent months, including machine translated subtitles in The Yuzuki Family’s Four Sons as well as closing Right Stuf Anime after acquiring them and purging all adult content.

All of this happened after Sony acquired Crunchyroll back in 2020.
