Crimson Desert tops 6 million copies sold worldwide

Crimson Desert

Pearl Abyss announced that Crimson Desert has officially surpassed 6 million copies sold worldwide just 83 days after launch.

The open-world action-adventure game has been building momentum at an impressive rate since its release in March. After reaching 2 million sales within its first day, the title continued climbing steadily, hitting 3 million, 4 million, and 5 million in quick succession before crossing the latest milestone.

Set in the fantasy world of Pywel, Crimson Desert follows the adventures of the Greymanes while offering players a vast open world filled with exploration, large-scale battles, and story-driven quests. The game’s fast-paced combat and visually impressive environments have been among the biggest talking points since launch.

Pearl Abyss also confirmed last month that first expansion or DLC for the game is in the works.

Crimson Desert has been available across Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
