Behold Flappy Bird Creator’s New Ninja-Themed Game

After the ridiculous and confusing success of Flappy Bird, its Vietnam-based creator Dong Nguyen removed the game from online stores and basically removed himself from the internet in an effort to shield his privacy. Now, the clone-mastermind is making a new game.

The game will be published by Japanese publisher OBOKAIDEM, an announcement made last week (thanks, Serkan Toto). While details are scarce, we know the game is code-named “N Project,” and is set for a global release sometime this year. It will also involve ninjas.

You can view a very early screenshot of the game in action featured above.

It’s worth mentioning that this partnership between OBOKAIDEM and Nguyen’s dotGears studio makes the publisher an exclusive partner. This is noteworthy as somehow the Japanese company got through to the Flappy Bird creator when he previously rejected numerous offers.
