Atlus: No Current Plans to Bring Persona 5 Royal to Other Platforms

Prior to announcing Persona 5 Royal, there was a deluge of rumors that Atlus was porting the darling JRPG to other platforms. Now, we’ve learned the company isn’t porting the game any time soon.

The news comes via a new FAQ posted on the game’s Japanese website, where the developer plainly states there is “no plan at the present time” to bring the game to platforms other than PlayStation 4.

In case you missed it, a new trailer was released for the game, introducing newcomer Kasumi Yoshizawa (pictured above) – you can find that here.

Persona 5 Royal is launching for PlayStation 4 on October 31st in Japan, and sometime next year in North America and Europe. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough written and video review for the original Persona 5 here (we highly recommend it!).
