40 Minute Nintendo Direct E3 2021 Premieres June 15

Nintendo Direct E3 2021

Nintendo have announced the premiere date of their roughly 40 minute Nintendo Direct E3 2021 press conference.

As stated in the press release (via email), the Direct will focus on Nintendo Switch titles launching in 2021, followed by three hours of deep dives and gameplay via Nintendo Treehouse: Live.

Fans are no doubt looking forward to more information and gameplay on the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (revealed in 2019), The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Pokemon Legends Arceus, Metroid Prime 4 (announced in 2017), Splatoon 3, the latest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character, and more.

The practicallyconfirmedatthispoint Nintendo Switch Pro may also be shown; but Bloomberg’s sources claim the console will be revealed earlier to allow for other developers to freely announce their games, as Nintendo’s own conference is later than others.

This would also suggest there will be new games exclusive to, or that perform better on Nintendo Switch Pro. The most recent claims point to the listings going live on June 4th. We will keep you informed as we learn more.

Nintendo Direct E3 2021 premiers June 15th at 9:00 a.m. PST (12:00 p.m. EST) via the official website; and undoubtedly Twitch, and YouTube.
