Monster Hunter: World has sold 17.1 million units, Iceborne 7.7 million units, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard 9 million units.

Capcom had previously announced Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion had shipped 2.5 million units back in September 2019, 4 million in January 2020, and 5 million in March 2020. They also stated stated the base game, Monster Hunter World, sold 15 million units as of January 2nd, 2020.

Now, Capcom have updated their Platinum Titles list for games that have sold over 1 million copies, with new data as of March 31st, 2021. Along with Monster Hunter: World selling 17.1 million units, and the Iceborne expansion 7.7 million units; Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has become Capcom’s second best selling title with 9 million units sold.

As of May 11th, Resident Evil Village sold 3 million units worldwide. While that is not currently reflected on the Platinum Titles list (again, taking data as of March 31st), this also means Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is the best selling Resident Evil game on the Platinum Titles list. However, that list considers each entry of Resident Evil 4 is divided depending on platform. In total, Resident Evil 4 sold 10.7 million units.

It should be noted that while Monster Hunter Rise is listed as selling 4.8 million as of March 31st, it was recently announced the game sold six million copies worldwide, just over one month after launch.
