The game launched on March 26th on Nintendo Switch, with the Friday launch no doubt helping fuel many sales. The game’s popularity even saw one Japanese CEO give his employees the day off for the game’s launch.

We previously reported on Monster Hunter Rise hitting 4 million copies sold just three days after launch, and 5 million a week after that. Now, the official website has announced the game has sold 6 million copies worldwide.

To celebrate, the Kamura Pack 2: Big Hit Celebration item pack is being distributed. Therein it contains 30 Mega Potions, 20 Well-done Steaks, 10 Large Barrel Bombs, 5 Mega Demondrugs, and 5 Mega Armorskins.

Recently details of the game’s Update Ver. 2.0 were announced, along with its launch date (today). Players can hunt new monsters, new quests (including hunting Apex monsters outside the Rampage), and the Hunter Rank Cap being unlocked.
