Kingdom Come: Deliverance Beta Release Date Revealed

Warhorse Studios’ medieval CRPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which eschews magic and instead relies on historical accuracy, is a title that has generated a lot of buzz in the two years since its formal announcement. In that time we’ve seen realistic sword fights, advanced NPC AI, character customization, and even a complete run-down of the game’s clothing system. What we haven’t seen, however, is a date for the day when all of these mechanisms will be put together into one cohesive CRPG.

Recently, it was announced that the beta for Kingdom Come: Deliverance will launch in Q1 2016. According to Warhorse Studios’ creative lead Daniel Vavra, the beta will triple the size of the current map, as well as adding in all of the game’s separate elements and systems into one complete whole for the first time in its development history.

Vavra and the rest of Warhorse Studios plan to release the PC version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance during the Summer of 2016, with an Xbox port a couple of months later. Though keep in mind, Macintosh and Playstation 4 are both listed as eventual platforms for the game.

If you want to contribute to the game’s development, as well as gain access to its tech alpha, you can help fund them by visiting their website and becoming an official backer.
