Yoshinori Ono is moving from DELiGHTWORKS to their new Aniplex subsidiary, following the news that Aniplex has acquired the Japanese developer, both parties confirmed this morning.
“Development and operation employees and I will be transferred to the new company,” Ono said in the update. “Titles in service, including Fate/Grand Order, will continue to operate under the new company. We look forward to your continued patronage in the future.”
DELiGHTWORKS also confirmed (also via Automaton Media) that their entire games company is being transferred to the new Aniplex subsidiary company. As today’s update confirms Ono is moving to the Aniplex subsidiary with all of their games company and staff, it remains to be seen what will be left of DELiGHTWORKS after the move.
Ono was made the president and chief operating officer of DELiGHTWORKS back in April of this year.
