Yggdra Union gets a western Switch port alongside full PC release

Japanese developer Sting has announced Yggdra Union: We’ll Never Fight Alone is getting a western Switch port alongside its full PC release.

The classic 2000s tactical RPG is coming west for Switch on July 27th (via the eShop) alongside its full Windows PC (via Steam) release.


Yggdra Union was originaly released for the Nintendo DS in 2006, with a PSP port in 2008, a mobile port in 2019, and a Switch port in 2020.

Here’s a rundown on the RPG:

In order to recapture her homeland, Yggdra gathers her allies and confronts the empire.

The Kingdom of Fantasinia is ruled by a royal family that inherited the blood of the gods who built up a stable era.

However, the Kingdom of Fantasinia fell under the attack of the Empire of Bronquia.

Meanwhile, Yggdra, a lone girl who escaped, with her kingdom’s last hope in hand, heads to the remotest land on the southern tip of the continent.

She arrives and meets a boy, the king of thieves, Milanor.

The battle to liberate Yggdra’s homeland begins with that encounter…
