Xenoblade Chronicles Remake is Announced for 3DS

Nintendo has announced the somehow possible 3DS port of the massive Wii original RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles.

The 3DS port is going to be exclusive to the New 3DS handhelds, which the company just confirmed earlier this morning.

Due to the higher demands the game is sporting, it can only run on the newer hardware, which has been confirmed to have an improved CPU.

Xenoblade Chronicles on 3DS is set to arrive in Japan sometime next year.

Holy fucking shit, this is awesome. Xenoblade is one of those games that I could never play on the Wii because I didn’t wanna buy it just for one game. There are even rumors saying there will be a new Advance Wars game for it soon. No wonder the 3DS is selling so well.

I think Nintendo is putting all their money into it right now, since the Wii U is failing so hard. This is a good time to be owning a 3DS for sure.

Although with that said, what the hell am I supposed to do with my old 3DS? shove it in a bin? there is no trade in market in my country. This is essentially a brand new handheld console. Dick move, Nintendo. Dick move.

    Yup, that’s what I think.

If Ninty wanted games to run an a better version of the hardware, then make a new system altogether.

What ticks me off is Sony did this with the PSP and everyone rode their ass for it…and I’ll bet you dollars to donuts that people, by and large, give Nintendo a pass for this.

This is a pretty crap move on Nintendo’s part especially these days, when they desperately need all the fan support they can get. I’m surprised that they pulled a Sega on us and still somehow believe that this move will not condemn them by the gaming public.
It’s astonishing that not a single publisher in this industry has learned anything over the years.
