Nintendo of Australia have revealed players can choose between the original or the remastered soundtrack in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.

While Nintendo of Europe had revealed a brief sample of the remastered soundtrack on Twitter (the Colony 9 theme), Nintendo of Australia revealed that players can choose between the original or remastered soundtrack for the game.

No other details were revealed at this time. Whether players can change their soundtrack during gameplay, or they will need to do so before loading a save file, remains to be seen.

In addition, the new epilogue chapter- Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected- was revealed to be playable whenever the player wishes, even if they had not beaten the main adventure.
