While the reveal for the game got many fans excited, some were concerned characters in the new threequel could be lacking. Nintendo has confirmed Xenoblade Chronicles 3 characters were designed by Masatsugu Saito, who is returning to work on the game.
The news that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 characters were designed by Masatsugu Saito is just the tip of the iceberg, as a number of staff from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 have returned to work on this mid-sequel.
Koichi Mugitani, who did designs for Xenoblade Chronicles X and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 also did the key art work for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which has yet to be revealed. Returning composers include Yasunori Mitsuda, Manami Kiyota, ACE (TOMOri Kudo, CHiCO), Kenji Hiramatsu and Mariam Abounnasr.
If you need a refresher on how the initial cast of heroes and villains in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 look, check out the debut trailer in our previous report here. I know many fans will be wondering if there will be any ridiculous bonus blade characters to recruit, and if they have massive mammaries.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is coming to Switch on September 22, 2022.
