Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Update 1.3.0 Delayed to March 2

Nintendo has announced a delay for the 1.3.0 update planned for Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

The update will forgo its planned release this week for one a bit later – on March 2nd. The reasoning behind the delay was to fix a bug found in the update data.

Fans can expect the update to include a New Game Plus mode titled “Advanced New Game Mode,” as well as a fix for a bug that was introduced by the 1.2.0 update.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is now available for the Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough review for the game here (we highly recommend it!).

In the meantime, the thing that really saved this game for me was turning down the game’s voice volume so that characters weren’t two notches above everything else. Made hearing “SPINNING CUTTER” about 75% less obnoxious.
