Microsoft has announced their Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2021 showcase, and its set for September 30th at 6 PM Japan time or September 29th at 5 AM Eastern / 2 AM Pacific.
“As games close the distance between people, we invite our players to celebrate the joy and community of gaming with us,” Microsoft said in the announcement. “Similar to last year, this will be a show curated for our players in Japan and across Asia. Expect a celebration with our Asia community and local relevant updates, though no new global debuts should be expected.”
Microsoft also confirmed fans can expect the “latest regionally relevant updates on previously announced games coming later this year” in the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2021 showcase, so we can expect more updates on previously revealed games and not so many new game reveals.
Obviously, this doesn’t mean new game reveals won’t be happening in the greater Tokyo Game Show broadcast itself, as there are typically new reveals from a multitude of Japanese developers and publishers.
For now you can find the official Tokyo Game Show 2021 livestream schedule over on their official website – the Xbox livestream will also be broadcasted as part of the overall Tokyo Game Show event, but will also naturally be available on the various Xbox channels too.
Tokyo Game Show 2021 is scheduled for September 30 to October 3, and will be broadcasted only online.
