Capcom has announced worldwide sales for Resident Evil 7: biohazard have topped 3.5 million units.
The new milestone was revealed via their new financial results, and includes sales across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
To compare, Monster Hunter XX sold 1.7 million units, and that’s only available in Japan right now. If we go by Capcom’s expectations, Resident Evil 7 actually sold below their forecasted numbers.
In related news, the game’s first story downloadable content – “Not a Hero” – was delayed to an undetermined date.
