PlatinumGames has announced they’re shutting down World of Demons, their Okami-like smartphone action game.

The game will be no longer available to download on January 18th, 2024, and the game will become completely unplayable even for users that had it before on February 1st.

The samurai and yokai-filled action game has been available for Apple Arcade since April 2021, so the game made it nearly 2 years before getting totally pulled.

Unlike the numerous games that were exclusively released for Apple Arcade and then ported to other platforms later, it remains to be seen if World of Demons will see life again.
