Warframe – How to participate in the Fomorian Threat event

Warframe Fomorian Threat Omega Isotopes

One of Warframe‘s relays is in danger, and it’s up to the Tenno to stop its destruction.

As of right now, the Strata Relay, located on Earth, is about to be destroyed in Warframe. The Fomorian Threat event allows players to stop this destruction, which is set to happen in roughly two days.

Players need complete the Fomorian Threat mission, and work on destabilizing the Fomorian power core by dealing at least one million damage to it. The event is a cumulative effort, as the core will be destabilized by multiple completions of the mission.

To participate, players need to have built an Archwing, as well as have an Archwing weapon equipped. It is highly recommended to hunt for a few mods and really squeeze the most you can out of your weapon, to avoid having to do the mission multiple times. You can find my Archwing weapon build above. It’s nothing fancy, but it did one million damage in a single mission.

The only requirement aside from an Archwing is to have built a Fomorian Disruptor, which can be found in the Market for 5 thousand credits. The blueprint is reusable, but does require a specific item that players most likely won’t have in hand.

The blueprint for the Fomorian Disruptor requires: 300 Cryotic, 3,500 Nano Spores, and 4 Omega Isotopes. Omega Isotopes can be found by completing missions in the planet whose relay is being threatened, in this case, Earth.

The best strategy for farming the Omega Isotopes is to do a few rounds of defense missions, although extermination is also an acceptable game mode if you don’t feel like being too idle.

After acquiring the Fomorian Disruptor, which only takes one minute to craft, players have to equip it on their gear radial menu to be able to enter the mission.

The mission is pretty straightforward, and has players breaking down the shields of the Balor Fomorian to gain access to the core. Once inside, players are required to do at least one million damage to gain their reward, which is usually 200,000 credits and an Orokin Catalyst.

Warframe is available on Microsoft Windows (Through Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
