Welcome back to Waifu Wednesday, Niche Gamer’s column where we talk about characters, their appeal, and a little on their history.

Today on Waifu Wednesday we’re doing something a little special. Since it’s Valentine’s Day, the waifu this week is none other than your waifu. That’s right, your specific waifu.

There’s only 52 Wednesdays in a year (give or take), and between video games, anime, and VTubers there’s no way we’re going to cover all of them. So just for today, we’d like you to pretend that we’re talking about your waifu (or husbando!) whoever they may be.

Your waifu is cute, pretty, cool, and funny, and probably one of the best or most underrated characters in their medium and they’re lucky to have you as a fan.
