Welcome back to Waifu Wednesday, Niche Gamer’s column where we talk about characters, their appeal, and a little on their history.

This week’s waifu is Mozumi Pichi from the VTuber group V-Dere!

Mozumi (often called Mozzu for short) is a wolf-girl VTuber who’s pretty well known for her cute voice and laugh, as well as her “bouncy” character design. Her backstory is that she’s an energetic wolf-girl who lives in the forest with her fans, the Mozzumites.

A wolf ranger who lives in a hollow redwood with a colony of termites named “Mozzumites”! Mozzu is strange, energetic, and always looking to entertain! Though her odd forest-raised habits may take some getting used to…

Mozzu is a variety streamer who regularly plays games from diverse genres including horror, FPS, and “friendslop” games with fellow V-Tubers (we use the term friendslop lovingly).

She also has an awesome alternate costume where she’s dressed as a Roman Aquilifer, a type of Roman Legionnaire who carried the eagle standard of their legion. We’re not 100% on the lore implications but it looks fantastic.
