Welcome back to Waifu Wednesday, Niche Gamer’s column where we talk about characters, their appeal, and a little on their history.

Today’s Waifu is Tsubaki from Blue Archive!

Tsubaki is the president of the Inner-Discipline Club (or Etiquette Training Society in Japanese), though she spends most of her time sleeping.

However, despite being lazy during the day, Tsubaki does her best to protect her fellow students at night, conserving her energy to fight with her riot shield in one hand and an SMG in the other.

As president of the Inner-Discipline Club, Tsubaki is supported by her friends Kaede and Mimori who joined Tsubaki’s club in order to become elegant ladies.

In-game, Tsubaki is an evergreen unit who will almost always see play in PvP. Outside of PvP she’s one of the best all around tanks and can fit into most any team that needs one (unless the fight does Mystic damage).

She recently got a new outfit, dressing her up in a stylish outfit as a tour guide for students visiting.
