Welcome back to Waifu Wednesday, Niche Gamer’s column where we talk about characters, their appeal, and a little on their history.
Today’s Waifu is Hitomi Tsukishiro from Iroduku: The World in Colors (Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara)!
Hitomi comes from a family of mages in the year 2078. However she suddenly became color-blind and became disinterested in both people and the world. In order to help her, Hitomi’s grandmother casts a spell to send her back in time to 2018. There, she meets her grandmother as a high schooler who helps her to learn to love life again.

Hitomi is timid and shy, but all the same she’s deserving of love, which is something her grandmother hopes she’ll learn.
Hitomi is voiced by Kaori Ishihara who’s known for her work as Mihari Oyama in Onimai: I’m Now Your Sister and Yozakura in the Senran Kagura multimedia franchise. This week’s waifu was submitted by our X follower Kratos.
