Deep Silver and Volition (Saints Row) have announced Agents of Mayhem.

The game is a completely new intellectual property from Volition, and is described as a single-player, open-world action game where you control a squad of three agents, dubbed M.A.Y.H.E.M. Featured above, you can view the game’s debut trailer, via IGN.

These agents will be tasked with defeating their enemy, L.E.G.I.O.N., with neither group entirely presented as the defacto “heroes” of the game. Instead, the characters have “cool guns, gadgets, and abilities to toy around with.”

Development platforms for Agents of Mayhem were not announced.
