Viking Squad Brings Co-op Brawling Adventures to PS4 and PC in 2015

The Vancouver indie studio Slick Entertainment have confirmed their upcoming co-op brawler, Viking Squad, is coming to Playstation 4.

Viking Squad is an interesting mix of RPG elements and classic beat ’em up gameplay, enabling you to choose the viking pillager of your choosing and improve his stats, weapons, and so on by leveling up.

The game proceeds through 2D environments much like the beat ’em ups of old did, but it also features a procedurally generated world map, to further enhance the replayability of the title. One of the coolest things about the game is that critical hits are not random, but rather dependent on how well you time your attacks.

A release date was not mentioned, but we’ll keep you guys posted.

They should port it to Vita too. Make it cross-play compatible.
