Van Helsing II is Delayed into May

Neocore Games have confirmed that The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II has been delayed into next month, instead of the April 17th date that it was set for this month. The game is being put on hold until May 22nd, and the reason for the delay sounds like a mix of both the supernatural, and the usual need for the game to be further polished:

Well, we could blame the supernatural or the bad Vrikolak meat in the fridge, but the truth is, we want to release a superb game as polished as possible on release and that will take a little longer than we thought. We want to make sure the sequel is superior to the first game in every aspect and it keeps you nailed to your chairs all the way to the end with its engaging new story. Now the new date will also mark the anniversary of the first game’s release and make our developers sweat blood in advance for the third!

When the game finally does release next month, the game will launch with three playable classes: the Hunter, the Thaumaturge, and the Arcane Mechanic. Van Helsing II will come with a whole host of new features and enhancements over the original game, and it will also ship with a co-op campaign, and a PVP mode that supports up to eight players.
