Valve plans to ship Steam Deck worldwide

Valve plans to ship Steam Deck worldwide by the end of this year, news confirmed in the company’s latest update on shipments.

“We are also looking into making Steam Deck available in more countries, including Japan, by the end of the year,” Valve said in the new update. “The team is continuing to push on all of these fronts, and will share updates as we get more info.”

Valve noted that as they are “working hard to increase the number of Steam Decks” produced this year, you should go into your Steam account to check your estimated shipment time as you might have been bumped from Q2 to Q3.

The company also previously teased up how quickly production for Steam Deck will ramp up now that it released, it will start being available in the “hundreds of thousands” by April 2022.

Valve’s recently launched Steam Deck is now available, and in three flavors: $399 (64GB), $529 (256GB), and $649 (512GB), over on the Steam store.
