Twisted Metal

We’ve learned the Twisted Metal TV show has added Will Arnett to their cast as the voice of an iconic main character.

Twisted Metal added (via Variety) Will Arnett, known for Bojack Horseman and Batman in the Lego movies, to the cast. He is reported to voice the murderous character Sweet Tooth, also known as Needles Kane. He is also joining the cast as an executive producer as well.

Earlier this year, Twisted Metal was confirmed by Sony and NBC to be getting a live-action adaptation. Since then they’ve added other notable actors to the project like Anthony Mackie, known for playing the Falcon/Sam Wilson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The new live-action series also has Michael Jonathon Smith to pen the story, who is mostly known for his excellent Cobra Kai series.

This will continue the line of television series Sony plans on creating for their PlayStation IPs. We’ve reported on the confirmation of other series such as God of War earlier. Which also includes the Horizon and Gran Turismo series. The Last of Us is also expected to arrive soon on HBO starring Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.

While there is no current planned release date for the Twisted Metal live-action series. It is expected to come to the streaming platform Peacock, which is owned by co-producers NBC.
