• TRIGGER acquires the rights to Panty & Stocking from Gainax

    Anime studio TRIGGER announced that they have officially acquired the rights to the series Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt from Gainax.

    TRIGGER announced that they were interested in creating a second season of the series during last year’s Anime Expo, going as far as to announcing it during the convention.


    Since that announcement, Panty & Stocking news has been sparse; but one year later TRIGGER has announced they officially have the rights to the series.

    During TRIGGER’s main panel at Anime Expo 2023, the studio annnounced the official acquisition of the rights to “Panty&Stocking with Garterbelt” from GAINAX.

    We kindly ask our fans to anticipate a New “PSG” by TRIGGER

    A release date has yet to be announced.
