• Panty & Stocking season 2 announced at Anime Expo

    Multiple sources are reporting that studio Trigger suddenly announced a second season to the Gainax series Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt at this year’s Anime Expo in Los Angeles.

    Originally airing back in 2010, the series ended abruptly on the final episode of the season with an over-the-top cliffhanger where Panty was betrayed by Stocking and it turns out she was a demon. According to various Twitter users, the new teaser acknowledges, but also recants this ending and shows Panty reforming after being sliced up and the two sisters giving the camera the middle finger.


    This news has since been confirmed by multiple sources, including North American anime distributor Crunchyroll.
