• Total Worldwide Shipments for PS4 Top 100 Million Units

    Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced total worldwide shipments for PlayStation 4 have topped 100 million units.

    The new milestone was reached in the three months that ended on June 30th, 2019 – news confirmed in the company’s latest earnings report.


    In total 3.2 million PlayStation 4 consoles were shipped in the first quarter of FY 2019, which matches the 3.2 million shipped in the same time period last fiscal.

    Sony modified their previous forecast to sell 16 million PlayStation 4 consoles for the current fiscal year, to 15 million PlayStation 4 consoles.
