• Toro’s Friend Network is Shutting Down in Japan

    It seems like PlayStation Home isn’t the last social networking application to be shut down by Sony.

    Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia have announced that Toro’s Friend Network is going to be shut down for good, in Japan that is. The service will see the plug pulled on March 31st of next year.


    We haven’t seen an announcement for the Western equivalent getting shut down as well, but with the following confirmation with Playstation Home (coming after the Japanese version being shut down), we’ll probably hear about it soon.

    The in game currency can be purchased until December, although a specific date wasn’t mentioned.
