Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 has been revealed at Summer Game Fest.
While being previously leaked, the trailer has now revealed Activision will publish the game, along with Vicarious Visions, who were behind remakes Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.
As detailed in the press release (via Business Wire), the game is a remake of the original games, and will “blend all the original levels, pro-skaters, old-school tricks and more that gamers remember from the ‘90s and ‘2000s with new, beautifully recreated levels.” The game also boasts “blockbuster songs from the original franchise.”
Returning features from across the franchise include revert, lip tricks, wall plant, the original multiplayer modes for online and local, Create-A-Park, and Create-A-Skater modes. The Create-A-Park mode will also allow players to share their parks online. The game will also have more goals and challenges.
The roster of professional skaters include Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Rune Glifberg, Kareem Campbell, Jamie Thomas, and Bob Burnquist.
The game will have a suggested retail of $39.99 in the US. A Digital Deluxe version (“that includes unique content and in-game gear”) will retail for $49.99. The Colletor’s Edition (“with the digital deluxe content and a limited-run Birdhouse deck”) will retail for $99.99.
