Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered includes content warning for racial stereotypes

Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered has included a content warning at the beginning of the game, cautioning players that they may encounter “offensive depictions of people and cultures rooted in racial and ethnic prejudices”.

The game (which launches on Valentine’s Day) is the latest remaster from Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr Media. Despite the warning, the original game appears to be fully intact with added features which we’ve covered previously.

You can read the content warning below.

While some fans are put off by the inclusion of a content warning at the beginning of the game, it’s at least better than the alternative of actively censoring content when remastering the original Tomb Raider games.

Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered is set to release on February 14th, 2024, for Windows PC (through Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.
