This is Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn … if it Was Developed on the Super Nintendo

Square Enix has been doing a lot of these “what if” videos lately with their latest games, showing off what they could have looked like if they were developed on older consoles like the Super Nintendo – or if they were just simply developed with 16-bit graphics instead of their usual pursuit of eye-melting quality graphics.

This next video is more of the same, although it puts a fun little spin on the whole retro showcase they’ve done in the past. This time, we get a look at what a 16-bit Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn could have looked like, complete with a giant, seemingly unstoppable boss that has an insane amount of health.

Check out the new video below:

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has been available on PC, Playstation 3, and Steam for some time now, with a global Playstation 4 release to follow on April 14th.
