A second season of The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat has been officially announced.

The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat began in 2019 as a light novel series by writer-artist duo Rui Tsukiyo and Reia. Tsukiyo is largely known for their work on Redo of Healer (you can find our review here, we recommend it!)

The first season of the series premiered back in 2021; and if a 2 year wait wasn’t long enough, we’re sad to say that a release date has yet to be announced. So don’t expect season 2 until at least 2024.

The greatest assassin on Earth knew only how to live as a tool for his employers—until they stopped letting him live. Reborn by the grace of a goddess into a world of swords and sorcery, he’s offered a chance to do things differently this time around, but there’s a catch…He has to eliminate a super-powerful hero who will bring about the end of the world unless he is stopped.
