CD Projekt have announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, along with a free upgrade for the current generation.
Mutated and trained from childhood to be a monster hunter, take down your foes with a flurry of blades and magic in this open-world action RPG; all while dealing with conspiracy, alliances, and love.
Now, CD Project have confirmed the game will not only be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (and possibly a PC re-release under as a Complete Edition), but the game will support a free upgrade for those who already own the game on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Developed to take advantage of the most powerful gaming hardware, the next-gen edition of the game will feature a range of visual and technical improvements — including ray tracing and faster loading times — across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content.
The next generation edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release as a standalone purchase for PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, as well as a free update for everyone who already owns the game on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.”
