Originally announced back in 2018 and delayed from 2019 to 2020, we’ve learned The Settlers reboot is delayed indefinitely as the new delay comes with no solid release window.
While The Settlers reboot is delayed indefinitely, the game’s Epic Games Store listing does have it for a 2021 release, however developer Ubisoft Dusseldorf-developed (formerly known as Blue Byte) posted a a new update where they confirm the focus is just making the game now.
“Since quality is our main priority, we want to take the time necessary to make it right,” the studio said. “Therefore, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone the release of the game until further notice. The additional time will be used to address your feedback and deliver the best The Settlers game possible.”
Specifics on why the game has been delayed indefinitely weren’t confirmed. “While we cannot provide a new release date yet, rest assured we will keep you updated via The Settlers Alliance and our other channels as soon as we can give you further information,” the studio said.
